I Love This Site!

We have discovered a great online resource called ‘Beading Daily’ which is published through Interweave Press (publishers of many of your favorite craft magazines). It is free to sign up and you instantly receive a great set of instructions for 5 pieces. There is a strong emphasis on beadweaving, with beautiful ideas for beginners and advanced weavers alike. And with The Beading Room stocking an increasing range of Czech and Miyuki seedbeads, you’ll need lots of great ideas to put them to use! We are expecting all sizes of the Miyuki Rocailles, or rounded seedbeads, and Triangles to add to our stock in the next couple of weeks.

There is a blog, forum for chatting, contests, a gallery and more! Most importantly there is a plethora of free beading projects in such a variety if styles that you could be kept busy for quite a while!

The ‘How To’ section is also great because it is full of tips, methods and tricks for the techniques which may be employed in the project ideas. And there are magazine subscriptions, special issues, books, DVDs even online tutorials for purchase.

We think you’ll like having a look through the site. Visit it at http://www.beadingdaily.com

  1. I love this site as well (Beading Daily). How do I sign up for your blog? Can you email it to me when one is posted?

I live in Hammonds Plains and heard about you at the Ottawa Bead Retreat (I am in Ottawa for business). Cool to have an online store so close to home.

  2. Hi Willi,

I hope you enjoyed the Ottawa Bead Retreat! We would like to start organizing similar events in the Halifax area, so keep in touch!

If you look on the left hand side of this blog, there is a section called 'Followers'. Just click on the button that says 'Follow with Google Friend Connect' and you should receive feed of any comments and blogs entered on the site. Blogs are really a great way of keeping in touch with everyone. I will be using it more and more frequently as our business becomes more established-we have been so busy just loading up new stock and organizing everything that I haven't blogged as much as I would like to:)

We are so excited to meet new beaders, especially local ones! We hope to have the pleasure of serving you soon!

    Best wishes,

    Owner/Manager and Beading Slave!
